Erase LinkedIn Fears with a Plan

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 26th edition of Short & Sweet, a weekly newsletter where I provide brief tips for attorneys to build their brand and book of business, on and off of LinkedIn. Read until the end to see my LinkedIn tip of the week.

Here’s what I’ve noticed after many conversations with attorneys: They want to be more active on LinkedIn. They know it would help with credibility, leads, and attracting speaking and writing opportunities, but when it comes time to actually post?

Silence.

Because there's a voice that whispers:

  • “Who cares what I think?”

  • “What if I’m wrong about my view of a case?”

  • “I don’t want to sound fake.”

  • “What if my colleagues think I’m showing off?”

  • “Someone has already written about this topic.”

  • “I don’t know what to say.”

  • “My firm won’t approve.”

  • “It feels like a waste of time.”

  • “I need to make this post perfect.”

And so the screen stays blank. The post goes unwritten. The visibility stays hidden. And the opportunity slips by.

With my LinkedIn in 8 coaching and strategy program we work through these fears and obstacles so you feel confident engaging on the platform consistently.

We do this one-on-one by delving into:

  1. How to engage with your ideal clients and referral partners.

  2. How to incorporate what you’re passionate about into your posts.

  3. How to optimize the platform so your posts get seen in the feed.

  4. How to build an aligned network of connections and followers.

  5. How to fit LinkedIn into your busy schedule.

  6. How to go outside of your comfort zone with support and accountability.

You’ll also get a revamped, client-attracting About section and Headline, along with tips to optimize your profile.

As well as access to a monthly group mastermind call and group chat on LinkedIn with other attorneys who are in the same place as you.

We’ll remove the fear, ditch the writer’s block, and finally make LinkedIn feel like a tool - not a burden - in just 8 weeks.

Summer spots are limited. Reply to this message or schedule a call with me to grab one.

Warmest Regards and see you next week,

Jamie

LinkedIn Tip of The Week:

You don’t need to post every day to have an impact. 3 - 5 times a week is ideal, and only once a day when you do post. The LinkedIn algorithm prefers this rhythm. It also allows you to stay consistent without burning out and keeps your content fresh for your followers.

P.S. You can work with me in the following ways:
